HatTech is a spacious, modern business centre with easy access to Hatfield train station. Aimed at freelancers, entrepreneurs and small businesses, the centre provides a hub for flexible working, with a wellbeing garden and a range of in-house services.

Why?

HatTech provides a COVID-secure environment for those who are not able to work from home, and in the longer term, will help to attract more businesses into Hatfield town centre and address the growing shortage of employment space within the county.

Transforming Beaconsfield court which has a vacant ground floor foyer and first floor office space centre model by turning the space into a business centre, will build upon the success of the Weltech centre model and will make use of the 15,000 sqft of space.

HatTech’s Covid-secure co-working suite with high-end work stations offers a professional, clean, and safe alternative to the home office, while it’s range of cost-effective office units are ideal for start-ups and small businesses.

The expansive working space is laid out to ensure social distancing can be comfortably observed.

Those needing a ‘digital detox’ during their day can enjoy the tranquillity of HatTech’s Wellbeing Garden.

The majority of the in-house services are also available to virtual office users.

Impact

The space has the ability to be configured to accommodate 35 new business spaces. This excludes hot desks / co- work desks. With space ranging from 150 sqft to 750 sqft.

There are six levels of membership options -- from five days a month to full 24/7 access - HatTech is designed to suit the needs and budgets of small businesses, entrepreneurs and individual workers.

HatTech’s outstanding facilities, flexible membership, and excellent location are just two minutes away from Hatfield station. Providing a convenient and creative environment in which businesses can thrive.

Funding

Hertfordshire LEP has supported a £751k investment into the creation of HatTech.
